<p>PURPOSE: A colored composition for a color filter, the color filter using thereof, and a liquid crystal display using thereof are provided to secure the long term retention stability, the heat resistance, and the development speed. CONSTITUTION: A colored composition for a color filter contains an acrylic resin, a coloring agent, and a copolymer of a first vinyl monomer with a benzyl group, and a vinyl monomer with a carboxyl group. The first vinyl monomer has the retardation control function for a chromatic layer formed by curing the colored composition using the acrylic resin. The weight average molecular weight of the copolymer is 3,000~11,000.</p> |
