<p>Titanium based additive to be introduced into a furnace to increase the longevity of the refractory masonry, comprises residues containing chloride obtained from manufacture of titanium dioxide, which are mixed with at least one substance comprising alkali hydroxide, alkaline carbonate, alkaline hydrogen carbonate and alkaline earth carbonate. An independent claim is included for a preparation of the additive containing titanium comprising residues containing chloride from fabrication of titanium dioxide, comprising mixing the residues with the substance.</p> |
