PURPOSE: A current potential monitoring device is provided to secure the stability of a gas pipe line. CONSTITUTION: A controller(12) controls the operation of a monitor device and processes the detected data of a sensor. A current sensor(14) detects a current value from a gas pipe line. An electric potential sensor(15) detects an electric potential value from the gas pipe line. An A/D converter(16) converts the analog data of the electric potential sensor and the current sensor into digital data. A data storage part(22) stores data processed in the controller. A power supply part(23) and a battery(24) supply stabilized power for the operation of the monitor device. A wireless communications unit(26) wirelessly transmits the data of the controller to a remote place.
