Described is a process for the cultivation of microalgae nannochloropsis oculata (Droop) Hibberd for the production of oil, the microalgae strain cultured in said area is: Nannochloropsis oculata (Droop) Hibberd, Eustigmatophyceae, with a length of 1-2 mm, a width of 1-2 mm. The Eustigmatophyceae are small plankton microalgae grown over several substrates. The production is based on culture tubes which are useful for sowing flasks and demijohns for inoculating a photo bioreactor and producing 1m3 of microalgae Nannochloropsis oculata (Droop) Hibberd. The process requires the preparation of nutrients into the cultivation water, an aeration system for cleaning the culture area and a device for injecting CO2 for promoting the growth and development of crops and the alteration of the dark and light cycles. The dry alga retains the oils thereof which are obtained by extraction and press processes, the resulting pulp being mixed with cyclohexane in order to extract the remaining oil. After each alga harvest, the 30% of the volume is removed, thus being required the addition of a cultivation medium so that the microalgae is reproduced and the harvested volume refilled.
