<p>The method involves executing a control command of an operating system or a basic input output system of a control computer (12) if a switch (6) is opened for separating a supply line (7). Another switch (11) controllable by the computer is opened for separating a system (5) e.g. automobile test rig, from the line during shutting down of the computer. The computer is automatically booted up if the former switch is closed. The latter switch is closed during booting up the computer. Detection is made by an input circuit of the computer whether the system is supplied with voltage over the line. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for operating a control computer.</p> |
