<p>PURPOSE: A vehicle lock is provided to substantially reduce the manufacturing cost, the weight and the space necessary for the lock without the convenience decrease of an electric closing assisting device. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle lock comprises a rotary lock(11), a locking tool and a manual or electric actuator lever(17). The rotary lock is pivotably mounted. The locking tool comprises a locking member(15), which can pivot around a locking axis(13). The lever blocks the locking tool on a closing position. The lever pivots around an actuating axis(19) in an open direction and can disconnect the locking tool. The pivoting of the rotary lock is blocked in the closing position by the locking member and the rotary lock is disconnected by the pivoting in an open direction by the locking member.</p> |
