PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly select and reproduce a predetermined data from a plurality of data. SOLUTION: The information processor comprises: a semiconductor memory 9 for relating and storing a plurality of data and file information of the plurality of files to which the plurality of data belong; a reproduction section 20 for reproducing the plurality of data; a jog dial 60; a rotation operation detection section for outputting an output signal by detecting rotation operation of the jog dial; and a press operation detection section for outputting an output signal by detecting press operation of the jog dial. A rotation speed of the jog dial is detected based on the output signal from the rotation operation detection section, and a predetermined file is selected based on the detected rotation speed, and predetermined data are selected from the plurality of data which belong to a predetermined file selected based on the output signal from the press operation detection section. Based on the detected rotation speed, the other data in the plurality of data are selected, and the other data selected based on the detection signal from the press operation detection section, are reproduced in the reproduction section.
