Fast response electrochemical organophosphate sensor

The application describes an electrochemical sensor (10) for detecting especially organophosphate (OP) pesticides, eg. parathion. The sensor has a working electrode (12) comprising a three dimensional ordered macroporous (3DOM) TiO 2 layer (14), optionally including electrically conductive material, eg. chitosan. Also described is a method for manufacturing the working electrode.
