PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molding apparatus capable of efficiently preventing the occurrence of wrinkles in a release film when coating the molding surface of a mold with the release film, and a resin molding method. SOLUTION: The resin molding apparatus has a supply roller 43 around which the release film 10 is wound and a take-up roller 44 for taking up the release film drawn out of the supply roller 43. The release film 10, which is trained over the supply roller 43 and the take-up roller 44 and passed through the mold to be supplied, is sucked and held to the molding surface of the mold and a product 12 to be molded is clamped through the release film to be sealed with a resin. The release film is newly supplied to the mold by sending out the release film, of which the length L is almost equal to that in the feed-out direction X of the molding surface, from the supply roller 43.
