The door has a door leaf (1), which is guided in an adjustable manner, and a drive unit (2), which is provided for motorized-shifting of the door leaf. A drive motor, an intermediate gear box and a feed gear of the drive unit are completely arranged within a drive housing (3), and are arranged in a consecutive manner. The feed gear is provided for producing a drive movement for the door leaf. A drive shaft of the drive motor is aligned parallel to a longitudinal axis (8) of the drive housing. An independent claim is also included for a drive unit for a sliding door, comprising a drive housing and a drive motor. |
