AIR-COOLED HEAT SINK AND LIGHT EMITTING DIODE LAMP USING THE HEAT SINK

PURPOSE: An air-cooled heat sink and an LED lamp adopting the same are provided to improve heat dissipation efficiency by forming a space for air convection between first and second horizontal sinks. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal sink unit includes a first horizontal sink(10) and a second horizontal sink(12). The diameter of the first horizontal sink is smaller than the diameter of the second horizontal sink. At least one second horizontal sink is arranged between the first horizontal sinks. A vertical sink unit includes a first tube(14), a second tube, and a third tube(16). The first and second tubes pass through the first and second horizontal sinks. The third tubes pass through the first horizontal sink.
