PURPOSE: A business proprietor information offering system and a method thereof are provided to allow a user to perform call connection with a corresponding provider by easily acquiring desirable provider information even though the portable terminal user does not know the provider information exactly. CONSTITUTION: A provider information offering server(100) matches provider information with search word information in each category. If the matched provider information request is received to certain search word information, the provider information offering server confirms and provides the requested provider information. A portable terminal(200) requests from the provider information offering server the provider information on the selected search information. The portable terminal performs the call connection to the corresponding provider phone number according to the user selection.
