The cylinder head of an inductor for heating metal bands with magnetic field crossing a plane structure, comprises a stack (2) of laminated magnetic sheets (4) constituting the magnetic cylinder head, and edge notches (7) with open lips located on angular ends of the inductor. The space between two notches is less than 5 cm. The notches are produced by the removal of a material, and initiated at edges of the sheet. |
