Method for processing a cogwheel

The method involves processing two tooth spaces (L1, L5) of a cogwheel (Z) by an abrasive wheel (S) when the abrasive wheel is moved along the cogwheel in multiple processing cams over width of the cogwheel. The abrasive wheel is provided with a processing profile cogwheel axis (AZ) with two profile sections (P1-P3, P5) for simultaneous processing of tooth spaces. The profile sections are diverged from each other by the processing profile to smoothen the two tooth spaces processed in the processing cam according to the deviation with different abrasion and/or machining volumes.
