<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill checking method and its system capable of collecting bills accumulated by an automatic bill handling device, surely managing them until completion of transportation, detecting a theft and like, and specifying a bill affected by damage. <P>SOLUTION: This bill checking system is constructed by connecting the automatic bill handling device 10 for reading a bill number and a bill processing device 30 for reading a bill number together via a communication network 20. When bills collected from the automatic bill handling device 10 and conveyed to the bill processing device by an operator are checked, the automatic bill handling device transmits its recorded bill number data to the bill processing device in collection of the bills. The bill processing device records the bill number data received from the automatic bill handling device, reads the bill numbers of the conveyed collected bills to record the bill number data, and compares and collates the bill number data to each other to specify a bill number resulting in nonconformity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
