PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to secure the safety of the secondary battery at an overcharged state, by short-circuiting an electrode terminal from the exterior. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(100) comprises the following: a case(20); a first electrode connected to the case; a second electrode with a portion extended to the exterior of the case; a short bar(61) electrically connected to the extended portion of the second electrode; and an extensible member(50) extended from the case.
