METHOD AND APPARATUS OF DYNAMIC SPECTRUM ALLOCATION WITH VARIABLE BANDWIDTH IN COGNITIVE RADIO NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method and a device of dynamic spectrum allocation according to the frequency bandwidth change is provided to maintain not to allow CR communication to be cut through dynamic spectrum allocation available for bandwidth, communication parameter adjustment, thereby guaranteeing frequency usage efficiency, data transeceiving efficiency, and QoS. CONSTITUTION: A spectrum sensing unit determines a first user of the frequency bandwidth while currently using by sensing a frequency spectrum(202). The frequency selection unit selects the empty frequency band which will forwardly use as the first user detects in the spectrum sensing unit. A frequency bandwidth comparison unit compares the size of the bandwidth of a currently used frequency and the bandwidth of empty frequency selected in a frequency selection unit. The communication parameter adjusting unit adjusts the currently set communication parameter value according to the frequency bandwidth size comparison result compared in the frequency bandwidth comparison unit.
