摘要 PURPOSE: A method and a system of channel equalization for a single carrier modulation signal are provided to apply both end overlap remover and both end overlap storage in performing the frequency area channel equalization, thereby improving the receiving performance in multi path channel even in case of a single carrier modulation system using a single antenna receiver. CONSTITUTION: A channel equalizer(1000) comprises both ends overlapping storing units(1010, 1015), zero padding units(1020, 1025), a first FFT units(1030, 1035), a second FFT unit(1040, 1045), a maximum rate combiner(1050), a IFFT unit(1060), a both ends overlapping removal(1070). The both ends overlapping storing unit proceeds a function of changing received signal r1(n) and r2(n) into the block signal r1N(n) and r2N(n) which sample numbers is respecitvely N. The both ends overlapping storing unit divides the received signal r(n) into a plurality of block signal r2N(n) and stores the signal.
