PURPOSE: A gear type continuously variable transmission is provided to proceed continuously automatic transmission by directly connecting a transmission gear and a driving shaft. CONSTITUTION: A transmission gear device matches a power transmission direction toward a rotary shaft(111) by attaching gears to both one-way bearings. The transmission gear device fixes two transmission gears(109, 110) to a rotary shaft groove. A main slider unit forms rack gears on the upper side and the lower side of a main slide frame. The transmission gears are engaged with the rack gears.
