The present invention refers to a novel technique or process, through which the decoration of glass blocks is attained by means of exposing the same to heat intervals, with which the glass decals are fused with the block, therefore forming part of the finish of the block and lasting indefinitely since the decal is fused and not scratched or detached. The heating temperatures, in different intervals, as well as the furnace used for that purposes are the determinant elements for controlling the inner pressure of the glass block, thus preventing the same from blowing out, and promoting the desired fusion between the block and the glass decal.
