PURPOSE: A flag staff is provided to improve the beautiful feeling of a flag by actively creating wind with electricity to wave the flag. CONSTITUTION: A flag staff comprises a post(110) and a fan unit(140). The post is fixed on the ground and attached with a flag on the top. The fan unit is arranged inside an opening which is formed on the upper part of the post, and comprises a bracket, a compact fan, and a power supply. The bracket is formed inside the opening. The compact fan is fixed to the bracket to blow air to the outside of the opening. The power supply provides electric power to the compact fan and includes a solar cell module(150) for generating and storing electric energy from solar energy.
