USE OF RPS 14 AS A HEPATOCELLULAR CARCINOMAR DIAGNOSTIC MARKER

PURPOSE: A marker for diagnosing liver cancer, RPS 14 gene is provided to quickly and accurately diagnose and predict liver cancer with only blood. CONSTITUTION: A marker for diagnosing liver cancer comprises RPS14(ribosomal protein S14) gene or RPS 14 protein encoded by the gene. The RPS14 gene comprises a nucleotide of sequence number 1. A composition for diagnosing liver cancer contains a material which measures RPS 14 gene level or protein level. The material which measures RPS14 gene level is a primer or probe which is able to amplify RPS14 gene. A method for diagnosing and predicting liver cancer comprises: a step of measuring expressed gene level or protein level of RPS14 gene in a biological sample; and a step of comparing the gene level or protein level with that of control group.
