PURPOSE: A discharging lamp is provided to improve the integral spectral radiant intensity of a specific wave by sealing zinc and hydrargyrum with a specific mole ratio in a light emitting tube. CONSTITUTION: A discharging lamp(10) includes a quartz glass-based light emitting tube(11), and sealing tube parts(12) are formed on both ends of the light emitting tube. A pair of electrodes(13, 14) is arranged along the longitudinal direction of the tube in a light emitting tube. Cylindrical caps are installed to the sealing tube parts. Power supplying wirings are installed around cylindrical caps. A power supplying terminal in connection with an illuminating unit is installed to tip-end of the power supplying wirings.
