PURPOSE: A water gate system is provided to move a roller gate of bottom discharge type in an upright position within a certain moving area and turn the water gate in the horizontal direction within the rest moving area. CONSTITUTION: A water gate system(100) comprises a pair of support structures(10), a roller gate(20), a guide unit(40), and a winch unit(70). The support structures are installed along the width of a waterway. The roller gate is arranged and supported between the support structures and able to move in the vertical direction. The guide unit is installed in the support structures to guide the vertical movement and turning of a roller gate. The winch unit is installed on the top of the support structures to provide winding power to the roller gate. |
