PURPOSE: An apparatus for recovering heat from waste water is provided to improve heat recovery efficiency and to reduce the size of a device. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for recovering heat includes a heat pump(150) and a waste water heat recovering device(101). The apparatus generates the hot water from the raw water supplied from a water tank by exchanging heat from the discharged waste water and supplies the hot water to a hot water tank(120). In the top of the heat pump, the first heat exchange process of the raw water of effluent and water tank are executed. In the lower part of the heat collector, the waste water heat is secondly collected by the heat exchange from the refrigerant. The refrigerant is condensed at high temperature and high pressure and is condensed when it passes a condenser(123).
