THE METHOD CONSTRUCTING A BAMBOO MAT EASILY ON THE SOFT CLAY SURFACE

PURPOSE: A construction method of a bamboo mat is provided to fabricate a bamboo mat in the site by quickly and efficiently binding rigid bamboo with flexible ropes and installed the bamboo mat directly on the ground. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of a bamboo mat is as follows. A vertical holder is installed in the installation direction of a bamboo mat in a ground zone(A) of weak soil foundation. A plurality of ropes(40) are arranged on the vertical holder and bamboo(30) is arranged parallely in the direction perpendicular to the ropes. An electric binding tool is used to bind the crossing points of the bamboo and the ropes with U-shaped binding wires. The bamboo mat made of the bamboo and the ropes is rolled in the elongated direction of the ropes. Rolling pipes(60) are installed on a geotextile mat(70). A first bamboo mat(MP) is placed on the geotextile mat and a second bamboo mat is placed on the geotextile mat to be parallel to one side of the first bamboo mat. A third, a fourth,...an n-th mats are installed toward the opposite side of the ground zone.
