MAGNETOELASTIC LINEAR ACCELEROMETRE

FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: magnetoelastic linear accelerometre has a housing with a cover, an inertial mass, two annular magnetoelastic cores and two inductance coils. An adjustment element is rigidly attached on the side of the cover of the housing of the accelerometre. There is also a steel ball and an elastic element which interacts with the adjustment element on one side and wit the inertial mass on the other, thereby pressing the steel ball to the annular magnetoelastic element. The inductance coils are made in form of measuring windings which lie on the annular magnetoelastic cores on one side and are connected in series head-on. A capacitor is connected in parallel to the inductance coils. On the other side of the magnetoelastic cores there are exciting coils which are connected in series. ^ EFFECT: higher sensitivity and accuracy of measurement. ^ 1 dwg
