FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to axle support, assembly unit for mounting suspension component to asymmetrical axle and suspension system for cradling vehicle chassis. Axle support includes compression plate installed in parallel to tension plate. Each of the plates has upper and lower portions having near-by and remote edges. The axle support has projections which extend from side plates. At least one of the projections has curved or rounded corner. The inner plate has a groove to which suspension component is attached. The assembly unit includes the first and the second supports mounted at opposite sides of centre line on asymmetrical axle including differential housing. The suspension system includes laterally spaced and longitudinally directed first and second frame beams and an X-member mounted between them, as well as multifunctional (e.g. box-type) component. ^ EFFECT: creation of supports being able to bear loads acting in different directions. ^ 20 cl, 17 dwg |
