<p>FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to traumatology and orthopaedics. Investigatory sections of the ankle bone are prepared in the sagittal, axial and coronary projections. To detect a hypostasis and diagnosing the first stage of aseptic necrosis, T2-weighted images with attenuated adipose tissue are formed in the coronary and axial planes (TR 4270, TE 82, FOV 100, matrix 512*256, section thickness 3 mm). To evaluate the destruction contours and size, differentiate the IIA (subchondral cyst) and IIB (incompletely separated fragment) stages, T1-weighed images in the axial and sagittal planes are used in the mode: TR 450, TE 12, FOV 75, matrix 256*208, section thickness 3 mm. To specify a pattern of ankle and articular cartilage changes, T2-weighted 3D images in the sagittal planes are used in the mode: TR 22, TE 10, FOV 100, matrix 256*192, section thickness 1.5 mm. ^ EFFECT: method provides detecting early avascular ankle necrosis, specifying later ankle changes, enabling the qualitative assessment of ankle condition, determining the necrosis stage. ^ 2 ex, 2 cl, 4 dwg</p> |
