FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas bag shroud for covering inflatable gas bag provided for vehicle occupant protection purposes which shroud is installed in vehicle relative to gas bag, to gas bag module and to steering wheel with such module. The shroud is positioned in such a way that it covers gas bag from passenger compartment side and has opening zone which during gas bag deployment under action of gas bag deployment forms a hole so that the gas bag in case of operation can deploy into vehicle passenger compartment through the hole in the gas bag shroud. The gas bag shroud includes two parts (3, 4), where the first part (3) consists of more form-stable material than the second part (4). Only the second part (4) has the opening zone where hole for gas bag is formed during gas bag deployment. ^ EFFECT: simplification of design and its cost lowering. ^ 18 cl, 4 dwg |
