FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: adhesive contains a basic component in form of brewer's or distiller's yeast which is a waste from the brewing or distillation industry. The residue of brewer's or distiller's yeast is treated with 2% sodium hydroxide solution in ratio of 1:1. The adhesive composition contains the treated residue of brewer's yeast, glycerin and boric acid.
