FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agricultural machinery. Mower for vegetation is made with an ability to move in a direction through the vegetation. The mower contains a number of knife devices located apart from each other. Each knife device has at least one cutting-off part working in the direction of the said distance. Stalks of vegetation in cross section vary in thickness or diametre. Mostly weeds and unnecessary croppers have larger thickness. The required croppers have stalks of smaller thickness or diametre. The distance between the knife devices is shorter in a certain place than the greater thickness or diametre at the site of operating of the cutting-off part. When moving through the vegetation the cutting-off part cuts or damages the stalks of greater thickness, which die afterward. The cutting-off part mostly does not damage the stems of smaller thickness and therefore they remain mostly undamaged and continue growing. ^ EFFECT: mower provides effective weeds and other unnecessary crops destruction on large areas of agricultural land. ^ 10 cl, 3 dwg |
