FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building. Ship two-shaft power plant contains cruise and boost engines. Boost engines are installed coaxially with propeller shafts and connected with them via cruise-boost planetary gears. The said gears contain angular gears and are interconnected via angular drive of cruise engine. The gears are connected by means of slip couplings. Cruise engine may be located between two propeller shafts or boost engines. Cruise and boost engines can transmit torque to one or both propeller shafts at the same time.
