PURPOSE: A negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery, the lithium secondary battery using thereof, a battery pack, and a vehicle are provided to minimize the dendrite phenomenon generated from overcharging or the over current. CONSTITUTION: A negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery contains an active material capable of reversibly reacting with lithium, a binder, a conductive material, and a lithium deposition reaction preventing material. The active material includes the following: a carbon material selected from the group consisting of natural graphite, artificial graphite, cokes, and a carbon fiber; a compound containing Al, Si, Sn, Ag, Bi, Mg, Zn, In, Ge, Pb, or Ti; and their combination. |
