PURPOSE: A damper device and a refrigerator including the same are provided to reduce a blowing resistance and suppress the reduction of a storage space. CONSTITUTION: A damper device includes a frame(63), a planar opening and closing body, a driving unit, a first protrusion(81), and a second protrusion(82). The frame has an opening which is transversely long. The opening and closing body opens and closes the opening. The driving unit drives the opening and closing body around the driving shaft in the longitudinal direction of the opening and closing body. The first protrusion is formed in the center of the driving shaft of the opening and closing body and is extended in an opposite direction to the driving shaft. A second protrusion is formed on the frame opposite to the opening. If the opening and closing body is covered, the opening and closing body is contacted with the edge of the opening by the first and second protrusions.
