Respiration monitoring apparatus has a tone generator (7) and a flow rate sensor (5, 6) which feeds signals to a processor, allowing the tone generator to produce louder sounds as the flow rate increases and softer sounds when it falls. A microphone (1), also connected to a processor (4), produces signals representing the background noise which adjust the sound produced by the tone generator. |
