PURPOSE: A method for utilizing hot water and cooling a room by increasing the temperature of water using a vacuum pump which discharges steam is provided to increase the temperature of the low temperature water and cool high temperature water using low energy. CONSTITUTION: A method for utilizing hot water and cooling a room by increasing the temperature of water using a vacuum pump which discharges steam comprises following steps. Heat is transmitted to a tank which is insulated from atmosphere except a vacuum pump filled with water. The vacuum pump is driven for discharging steam. The steam pushes the water of the tank from the upper end of the water downward. The steam is mixed with the water. Liquefaction is guided by water pressure.
