The lid (1) has a fitting unit cooperating with a complementary fitting unit so as to carry out stacking. A side wall (2) has an upper zone (5) and a lower zone (6) of circular sections and different diameters. The lower zone of lower diameter is fitted partly in the upper zone of large diameter. Internal diameter of the upper zone corresponds to external diameter of the lower zone. An end is closed by a bottom wall (3). The side wall is arranged at a level of the end of the lid, and includes an internal thread cooperating with a threading of a pot.
