The framework (10) has a chassis (8) inserted within a frame. A set of cells is located behind the chassis, where the cells carry electronic sources e.g. LEDs (1, 3), for emitting colored radiation. The cells are manufactured industrially and distributed commercially. The cells carry a heat sink (2), a side shutter (6), top and bottom shutters and flexible joints (7) between a plate (5) and a hanging wall. An electronic controller controls the intensity of the electronic sources and subjugate to the ambient luminosity. An independent claim is also included for a painter's canvas woven with threads allowing passage of a major portion of radiation and coated with transparent gesso.
