The piece (1) has a mounting base plate (2) integrated to a sliding board. Elastically deformable bridges (4, 5) connect the mounting base plate to an edge (3), where the deformable bridges are in a form of an elastically flexible arch. Cutouts (23, 24) are provided such that the bridges are separated from each other, where one of the cutouts is filled with a deformable dampening material. The deformable bridges comprise two legs (26, 27) and a junction zone (29) at which the two legs are connected together by forming a non-flat angle between each other. An independent claim is also included for a sliding board comprising a tail.
