METHOD FOR PLAYING A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT USING POTABLE TERMINAL AND APPARATUS THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for playing a musical instrument using a potable terminal and an apparatus thereof are provided to uses an infrared sensor of the portable terminal to implement the playing function of a string instrument by using an infrared sensor of a portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen(110) senses a first input signal which is inputted on a screen which is divided according to a certain instrument at a playing mode. When a second input signal is sensed, a control unit(100) analyzes the second signal by linking the first input signal with the second input signal. The control unit outputs sound source data of a certain song in audio signal according to the analyzed result, and a sensor unit(150) senses the stroke operation of a user by using an infrared sensor.
