摘要

Provided is a display device which can be disposed so as to increase the flexibility of the position of placement of an object to be observed and reduce a space on the side opposite to the observer side with a real mirror image forming optical system interposed therebetween. Specifically provided is a display device comprising an object to be observed, a real mirror image forming optical system which separates a space on the side of the object to be observed and a space on the observer side, comprises a semi-transmissive base including a symmetry plane, and forms a real image of the object to be observed in the space on the observer side via the base, and at least one reflecting mirror which is disposed in the space on the side of the object to be observed, reflects light from the object to be observed, and guides the reflected light to the real mirror image forming optical system.
