When an unvulcanized tire is molded, a tire constituting member having a joint is wound around a body to be molded with high precision while preventing triple overlap. When a detection means (60) detects a joint in the vicinity of the cutting position of a tire constituting member (G), the tire constituting member (G) is cut into a length shorter than a predetermined length by removing the joint. The front end and rear end of winding of the tire constituting member (G) are held by a front end holding and pasting means (40) and a rear end holding and pasting means (50), the tire constituting member (G) is elongated to the predetermined length by separating both holding and pasting means (40, 50) from each other, and then the both holding and pasting means (40, 50) are moved to the side of a body (H) to be molded. Thereafter, the front end of the tire constituting member (G) is pasted to the body (H) to be molded, the tire constituting member (G) is wound around the body (H) to be molded by rotating a support (2), the rear end holding and pasting means (50) is moved to the side of the body (H) to be molded in accordance with the winding, and then the rear end of the tire constituting member (G) is boded to the front end thereof. |
