<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for passing a cable, capable of using an existing metal telephone line to pass a new optical fiber cable. <P>SOLUTION: The cable passing device 100 to be attached to a line body passed into a duct, includes a flexible rod 11 enabling the line body to be connected, and a plurality of wires 13 fixing the tips in the cable passing direction to the tip 15 of the rod 11, while being longitudinally paralleled to the rod 11. This enables the wires 13 to be operated on the rear-end side in the cable passing direction for swinging the tip end 15 of the rod 11 in an optional direction. Preferably, a plurality of rings for undergoing the passing of the existing wires in the duct are attached the rod 11 of the cable passing device 100 in the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
