<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus of manufacturing bent optical transmission media, by which a collective and uniform bent state of a lot of optical transmission media is obtained without giving a crack, and to provide a method of manufacturing the bent optical transmission media. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing the bent optical transmission media includes: an electric discharge electrodes A which partially heat the optical transmission media; and moving means 101, 306 which move the optical transmission media or the electric discharge electrodes A, wherein a portion of the optical transmission media is heated while the optical transmission media or the electric discharge electrodes A are moved, wherein a conductive body 50 or an insulation body 60 are disposed in the vicinity of the electric discharge electrodes A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
