PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform automatic verification even though variations occurs in the operation of a video playback apparatus. SOLUTION: An automatic verification system (15) for the video playback apparatus (10) includes: a consecutive photographing, recording and storage (30) for continuously capturing video outputs of the video playback apparatus (10) and storing a plurality of captured images; image comparison (430) for comparing one image among the plurality of stored images with one image among a plurality of reference images (630) that are prepared in advance; and a consecutive photographing, determination and control (400) for inputting the plurality of stored images to the image comparison one by one at a time to control the image comparison (430).
