PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of easily selecting a service to be utilized from among a plurality of services providing a certain function. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus stores points indicating an evaluation for each utilized service; and when the execution of processing utilizing a certain function is instructed, the transmission of stored evaluation points is requested to another image forming apparatus connected to a network (S101). Then, by a method (S107) for displaying in parallel the order of services, in the order of the evaluation points in the other apparatus, while listing and displaying the choices of the services in the order of the evaluation points stored by itself or a method (S109, S111) of listing and displaying the choices of the services, in the order of the total of evaluation points stored by itself and evaluation points from the other apparatus, the alternatives of the services are presented; and selection of the service to be utilized is received.
