<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a tire having excellent quality and appearance by coping with the variation of a core tire to suppress the occurrence of level difference on the end part of a precured tread. <P>SOLUTION: The precured tread is formed by laminating rubber strip on a rigid body core 2 to form a circular unvulcanized tread 71, housing the unvulcanized tread 71 with the rigid body core 2 in a vulcanizing mold 40 and vulcanizing the unvulcanized tread 71 by a vulcanizing device 30. Detachable circular molds 41A, 42A for end part for regulating the end part shape of the precured tread are provided in a position of the vulcanizing mold 40 which comes into contact with the end part of the unvulcanized tread. The molds 41A, 42A for end part are previously changed corresponding to the side part shape of the core tire to form the end shape of the precured tread to be fitted to the shape of the core tire in the bonding position to bond the precured tread with the core tire without forming the level difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
