Pyronaridine lactate of formula (I), wherein n is 1-4, solvate, crystal or amorphism thereof is disclosed. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound of formula (I), a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound of formula (I) and an artemisinin analog, a pharmaceutical kit comprising the compound of formula (I) and an artemisinin analog and the use of said compound of formula (I) or said pharmaceutical composition in preparation of a medicament for preventing and/or treating of malaria are also disclosed.
