<p>Disclosed is a communication apparatus capable of transmitting high priority streams and interrupting low priority streams when the network is busy, and capable of controlling the transmission of streams per stream. Also disclosed is a communication control method of the same. The communication apparatus assesses whether the degree of congestion in communication with a destination apparatus has exceeded a predetermined assessment value, transmits a plurality of streams, in parallel, to the destination apparatus in situations when the degree of congestion does not exceed the assessment value, then, in situations when the degree of congestion exceeds the assessment value, at least interrupts the transmission of the stream with priority lower than the other streams of the plurality of streams transmitted in parallel, said priority described in priority information describing the priority of each of the streams.</p> |
